Agency Love Letter

I saw this post a couple of weeks ago on Twitter and promised myself to write about it because the execution was so unique. A New York City-based agency known as Glow wanted to provide an anonymous way for people to share their feelings about their ad business clients. Therefore, they created a website to allow users to write nice – or not so nice – anonymous letters to their clients and agencies.

The site, AgencyLoveLetter.com, allows people to shower their agency and client partners with warm love letters or vent if they feel the need. According to the agency’s CEO, the site was a playful way to share ones feeling about the agency/client partner relationship without fear of repercussions – hence the anonymous part of the whole deal.

The sheer number of letters is what amazes me the most. There are at least 120 letter contribution and the button to submit more is still active. Yes, you can navigate on over to AgencyLoveLetter.com, and submit your very own anonymous letter to a client. But, I wouldn’t recommend it if you do not work in the biz, the ad business and deal with clients directly.

Some of the letters are actually pretty funny. You should go read some for a few laughs. Because this site is so entertaining, I thought I should create my own right here on Inside That Ad.

My own Agency/Client Love Letter

Dear Client,

Creating an image or content for a Website requires more than just cutting and pasting from one place to another. So in the name of all that is holy, stop expecting same day project turnarounds.

Love,

Agency

Conclusion

Let me know what you guys think of my letter in the comment section. I think my letter had a few too many characters to meet the site’s requirements for letter submission. I think they have the character requirements in place for easy sharing with Twitter and other social media.
